Tony Parks
March 8, 1970 - May 9, 2018

Tony Parks, 48, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence while surrounded by his loved ones, following a brave fight against cancer.

Graveside services for family and friends will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 14, 2018 by the pond at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA. Celebration of Life will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday at South Ridge Golf Course in South Sioux City, NE. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.

Tony was born on March 8, 1970 in Sioux City, IA, the son of Bill and Sandy (Wisner) Parks. He graduated from East High School in Sioux City, IA and worked at various jobs before he owned and operated Paddock by Parks in South Sioux City from 1998 to 2003 with his wife, Danell and his mother, Sandy Parks. Tony also cooked at the Gateway Bar and Grill.

He loved boxing, boxing from the age of 7 until he was 20. He also loved all sports, playing cards, darts and pool. Tony's tender heart loved and had a special affinity with animals, especially wolves.

Survivors include a sister, Stephanie Divis (Bob Johnson) of Hinton, IA; a brother, David Parks of South Sioux City, NE; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Jeffrey Divis and Kenzie Parks; and great-nephew and niece, Trevor Hanson and Gracie Parks; and his step-daughters, Alyson Rogers and Whitney Boggs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Sandy Parks.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Siouxland for their wonderful care.
