On Monday, May 28, 2018, J. Robert Sutcliffe a resident of Pompano Beach since 1957, passed away after a brief illness, he was 92.
Born in Lynbrook, New York, and a WWII Navy Veteran, he is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Lee Sutcliffe. He is the loving father of Christine Zitniak, Lorraine Michaels, John R. Sutcliffe, Jr. and the late Deane Hashemi (Hamid). Brother of Donald Sutcliffe (Susan) and the late Marcia Lloyd. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 10:15 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Rd. 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. Participants are asked to assemble in funeral cortege lane #5 by 10:00 a.m.
