"Words cannot express our feelings for our neighbor Sheila...living kitty corner from her for many years, she could be seen outside with her flowers, at the library or heading downtown in her car. She told me, when she got her last vehicle-" I really like it, it looks like a race car, but don't tell anyone I said that." Always a smile..almost mischievous in a way. She just had that look...After she moved to the nursing home, I was able to see her on occasion. The boys would take her for walks around the neighborhood and bring her back to her house for celebrations during the summer. I would call "Hi Sheila!" and she would smile and wave. She was a good neighbor, friend and person. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the Rislov family..."

"I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service on Wednesday. Mrs. Rislove, as many of us knew her, was a firm but fair teacher and affected the lives of all her students. My proper use of the English language is, and always will be, my constant reminder of her. My prayers and condolences go out to John, Jim and your families."

"My dear, dear friend, Sheila! I will miss you for our many years of friendship, silly jokes, and New Year's Eve celebrations. The joy we shared for our children and grandchildren! What was yours was mine and what was mine was yours! Your never stopped teaching me until the very end! My hope is that someday I can be as courageous as you were and leave this world with a smile! ??"
