A funeral service will be held at 1 :30 PM on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Titonka. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of service on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Titonka.

Mildred Ricklefs was born on September 2, 1923 at rural Titonka to Ben and Emma (Rode) Franzen. Mildred received her education in a rural school nearby. She was later united in marriage to Harold Ricklefs on September 1, 1946 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The couple farmed northeast of Titonka and were blessed with four children. Harold preceded her in death on December 13, 1976.

Mildred was involved with many various church activities. She liked sewing quilts for charities, crocheting, walking and enjoying God's creation, gardening and listening to Christian radio. Mildred's faith and family were a very important part of her life. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were all a special joy to her.

On Friday, June 8, 2018, Mildred went to be with her Lord and Saviour. She leaves to mourn her children, Merle and wife Betty of Woden, Keith of Sioux City, and Mark and wife Georgia of Titonka; son- in-law, Roger Giddings of Burt; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Dolores Franzen.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Karen Giddings; parents; brother, Lewis Franzen; and sister, Lorraine Rike.
