Ralph Urquhart Meaney
August 12, 1937 - June 10, 2018

Passed away peacefully on Sunday June 10, 2018 at the age of 80. Ralph will be remembered for his love of Porsche cars. He was an accomplished race car driver, winning his class at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1970. He was also an excellent mechanic, owning Porsche repair shops at first in Framingham, MA and then in the Redmond/Kirkand, WA area. He was a lifelong member of the Porsche Club of America.

Born in Philadelphia to Ralph Blaise Meaney and Margaret Urquhart Haynes, lived in Cumberland, ME, and Sherbon, MA where he graduated from Framingham High School. He moved to Seattle area in 1978 with his family and lived the rest of his years there.

Ralph had many hobbies, in his youth, he raised many birds of prey, built a sailboat on his own, photography, and was an avid gardener which he continued on his entire life.

Ralph leaves behind his sons, Alex and Justin, granddaughter Freya, his sisters Joanne and Peggy, and former wife Janice Kiley.

A memorial for Ralph will be held at EvergreenHealth Hospice Chapel in Kirkland at 1 pm on August 12th.
