Born February 26, 1934, in Holton, Kansas. Died June 13, 2018 in Renton, WA. One of four siblings, she moved with her parents Peter and Rebecca McColgin to Klamath Falls, OR in 1943.
She married Robert O'Brien of Blue River, OR on September 4, 1955. She and her husband graduated from Oregon State College (now University) in June 1956.
She is survived by her four children, Merle Peter O'Brien of Covington, Charles James O'Brien of Covington , Susan Debra O'Brien of Blue River, OR and Helen Monica Gusse of Renton. She is further survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM at Nativity Lutheran Church, 17707-140th Ave SE Renton, WA 98058 on Friday June 22, 2018.
