"I remember getting letters and a birthday card each year in the mail from Aunt Marilyn. I remember when I was little and we visited, I'd like to take "zips" of my Mom's coffee and Aunt Marilyn would tell me it was going to put hair on chest. She laughed when I said I didn't want hair on my chest! She did her best to keep family connected. We'll greatly miss Aunt Marilyn. "

"I am saddened to hear of Marilyn's passing. After Mom passed away Marilyn would always see to it that Dad got some of her homemade peanut brittle. He really enjoyed it and appreciated her thoughtfulness as well. Her gentle kindness will be greatly missed, my condolences to her family."

"You all are in my thoughts and prayers. It is ironic, as the last time I saw Marilyn, she was helping to serve lunch for my Mom's funeral. Marilyn was a wonderful and giving person, and will be greatly missed. The music festivals, dances and other gatherings we all shared are some of my Greatest memories!! May God's Blessings and Comfort sustain you all during this difficult time! Greg DeMoss (Ray and Wanda's son)"

"Marilyn, First you were a daughter, sister, wife, mom, aunt, grandma, great-grandma, and a dear friend to all who were lucky enough to get to know you. I can hear you telling us kids, when we got a boo boo, ohhh it is a long ways from your heart, you'll be okay. Well - we will be okay - because we know you loved each and everyone one of us, as we loved you. I will miss you Aunt Marilyn, but I know you are in heaven with my mom, along with your two brothers, parents and grandparents. What a great reunion that must have been. Love, Marcia Huetter Bell - one of your favorite nieces! "
