"Lois and Gordon, sister-in-law and brother to my husband Paul, came to Texas fairly often. We enjoyed sight-seeing in San Antonio on one visit. Paul and Gordon's father was with us. It rained on us as I recall, and that brought on laughter. We also went to Iowa and stayed with them for some memorable visits. One morning we took a walk to see a barn being turned into a house. But most impressive of all, was seeing their love of nature: feeding the squirrels, bird watching; and who could miss the great fondness shown their pets? Coming to our house for visits in Texas they always enjoyed our pets. On our visits they made sure that we saw Lois' wonderful parents, Willis and Helen Stigge. We visited in their home at least once, and in later years saw Helen in the Nursing Home. On every visit Lois related all the news about her sisters, brother, nieces and nephews. We send our sympathy to each of you. May God bless your dear memories of Lois. "
