Mere words can never express the great loss of a deeply loved pet. The great times the animal brings to the People and family can never be replaced or substituted. Stella was one of those great spirits in a dog that anyone would absolutely love and adore. Her good nature and kind spirit and playful attitude were a true joy to be around. Highly intelligent and kind to a fault.
She had an internal clock that was always right on time. She had a way of letting you know that she wanted water or breakfast or dinner. She was very obedient and never strayed away. She was great with other animals too. Very inquisitive and curious. She had an encounter with a woodchuck once, she did not want to attack the woodchuck, she wanted it to be her friend. She also had a close experience with a Fox through our fence. Just curious.
She was with us for 8 years, not long enough. She would sleep on the bed after I left for work to keep my wife, her best friend and companion, safe. She was always licking you, she would keep you clean and would have made a great mother. We miss her so much and it has been very hard and the house is just not the same without her here. We miss her dearly.
