"I met Richard (Grandpa) a couple years ago for the first time at the same time I first met Linda and Darryl. He welcomed me as if I had been part of the family for years and then again last year when I was back in Ohio for Christmas with Brett and Jennifer the same heartfelt welcome. I feel so blessed to have known him this very short time. It was very visible he truly loved his family and that each and everyone was very special to him. His care for Grandma was so precious. Just a blessing to watch. I know that there is so much sorrow at this time. May God bless all of his family at this time and bring comfort as best he can. Heaven has truly been blessed and now you all have a guardian angel watching over you especially the love of his life Grandma. Hugs and prayers from me to all of you. Anne Beem (Jennifer's mom)"
