On Sunday, July 1, 2018, Joyce L. Ward, a resident of Lighthouse Point, Florida since 1973 passed away after a brief illness, she was 85. Born in Geneva, New York, she moved to Auburn, New York where she married, worked and started a family. She left General Electric in 1973 and the family moved to south Florida.
She is the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Clyde Ward and loving mother of Michele Mortin (John) and Marc Ward (Dr. Becky Mulvaney). She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Michael Seaman (Hope), Andrea Seaman, Kara Seaman and Tiffany Holcomb (Matt) and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Hunter, Connor, Haiden, and Lily.
A gathering for relatives and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. where a service to celebrate her life will commence at 6:00 p.m. Private interment services will be held at a later date.
