Dona L. Tebben
May 30, 1940 - July 31, 2018

Dona Lynne Tebben, the daughter of Lester and Elveria (Hoffmann) Bonnstetter was born in Mason City, Iowa on May 30, 1940. She attended and graduated from Corwith High School in 1958.

On June 22, 1958, Dona was united in marriage to Russel Tebben at St. John Lutheran Church, Corwith. From 1961 to 1963 she and Russel lived in Los Angeles where Russel worked as a Los Angeles Police Officer. In 1963 they moved back to Iowa to raise their family.

Dona worked for the Kanawha Community Home as the Activity Director, Hancock County Home Health Care Program, Corwith Green House and Wright County Public Health.

Dona liked gardening, running, and baking bread. She taught many people how to make bread. She was a member of Team Gus during Ragbrai, St. John Lutheran Church and the Corwith prayer shawl group. Dona was a caretaker to many especially her husband and mother. Dona even had a customized license plate that said "Hug Nut", because she enjoyed giving hugs. Dona was a great mother, aunt and friend. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Dona died Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City at the age of 78.

Dona is survived by her children, Paul (Tammy) Tebben and Denise (David) Tvedt; daughter-in-law, Cindy Tebben; grandchildren, Alexia, Talon, Bill, Megan Vieira, Ryan (Kylene) Tvedt, Keenan Tvedt and Catie Bach; great-grandchildren, Abilyn, Myles, Ike and Freya; sister, Kay Baker, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russ; parents, and her son Tony.

A memorial service for Dona was held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, Corwith.
