"Grandma loved with passion. It was shown at family gatherings and all the holiday meals she made. It was shown in her huge gardens - without a single weed ever! It was shown in her dedication to the church. She would faithfully clean the church with the same passion she cleaned her own home. She knew all 67 of our birthdays plus most of our spouses! If that is not a special mind of passion and love for her family I am not sure what is. The passion will live on in all of us. Love u Grandma Acker. "

"I was lucky enough to call this wonderful woman my mother in law. She was a woman of great faith. We had many great times in Door County doing puzzles, playing cards, shopping, eating (of course!). She was a great cook - best zucchini bread maker in the world! I am sure going to miss you Lillian! So glad your son married me so we could be friends! A huge thank you to Shana Acker for the great care and love she gave to Grandma while in the assisted living and nursing home. Rest in Peace Dear Lillian. xoxox"

"Grandma was a great example to us kids growing up on the farm! Her hard work and dedication still inspires me to follow that example in my own life. I thank the Lord for the time he allowed us to spend together on the farm and in the garden. She was a tough lady and very generous in providing for us! I will miss her greatly and cherish the memories Jesus has given me! Love you grandma Lilly! "
