Tributes

Carolyn Bender wrote on Aug 10, 2018:

"I am so very sorry for your loss. Our families grew up together in the Bronx and I have such wonderful memories of times spent together. We lived in the apartment above and I remember how excited we kids would get when Vicky tapped on the pipe running through our kitchens. When we heard the special tapping, we knew that Vicky, who was an amazing cook, would have a plate heaping full of delicious goodies for our family! My sisters and I would run down the flight of stairs to get the treats! She was a beautiful person and I know that she touched many, many hearts. Carolyn Bender (Doris and Reg's daughter)"

"Mrs. "G" was like a second mom to me. Warm, kind, funny and generous. She will be sorely missed. She also welcomed my family into her home, so this tribute is on behalf of Herb Lopez and Linda Lopez-Vasquez and family. Vicky and her family are in our prayers."
