"It has been a privilege to really get to know John these last couple of months. It seems to me he loved our country. He stood by justice. He was proud of being an officer of law. The stories he told me I am sure were highlights in his life and I feel blessed to have heard them.. John had a beautiful smile his eyes shimmered and he would light up the room. I will miss that smile. I know he will be missed greatly by his family. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you."
