In loving memory of

Nathan Scott Jones
November 14, 1996 - August 7, 2018

Nathan passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jason and Linda were excited to announce the arrival of there precious baby boy, Nathan Scott Jones on November 14, 1996 at the Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, Iowa. Nathan completed his earthly journey and returned home to his heavenly father on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

Nathan was raised in the Shenandoah community where he attended school. Nathan graduated from Shenandoah High School with the Class of 2015. During his school years he participated in track and football and also held a part-time job at Hy-Vee. Nathan loved to lend a hand to his neighbors. He enjoyed mowing lawns, shoveling snow and doing yard work, this also helped him earn extra cash to support his video game addiction. Most recently Nathan had been employed as an Automotive Technician for Anderson Auto Care and Walker Tire. He loved working with his hands. One of his favorite sayings was "Get an idea...Grab a wrench...and Love what you've done!"

Nathan had a love of nature and the creatures that inhabited it. He once brought a snake into the house, much to his father's displeasure. Nathan also enjoyed boating, playing X-Box and working on his car or motorcycle. Nathan loved Dr. Pepper, spaghetti, meatloaf and those famous energy drinks. Anything to help him through the day! The fourth of July was his favorite holiday. He enjoyed the BBQ, fireworks and chasing his brother, Kyle around the yard with a Roman Candle.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents and uncle, Jeff Jones. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Linda Davis; his father, Jason Jones (Tammy); siblings, Kyle Jones and fiancé Nichole, Ashley Chloupek, Mitchell Jones, Lillian Jones and Emma Jones; grandparents, Kris and Roger Jones, Dennis Davis and Joyce and Jeffrey Trahan; great-grandma, Irene Nagel; aunts and uncles, Brandi Kroeger (Kevin), Michael Davis, Stacey Jones, Deana Skinner (Aaron) and cousins, Braxton, Jessica, Clarissa, Ethan, Noah, Josie, Brandy, Tiffany, Tristan and Jacob.
