Kevin Keith Benning, 61, of Webster City, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at his home in Webster City. He was born October 18, 1956, in Hampton, Iowa, to Irvin Frank Benning and Marilyn Mae (Pals) Benning-Reysack.
Kevin graduated in 1975 from Ackley-Geneva Consolidated School in Ackley, Iowa. He attended Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. Kevin was baptized on December 30, 1956, at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Geneva, Iowa. He was affiliated with the St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Geneva, Iowa. Kevin enjoyed reading and crafts.
Kevin is survived by his mother Marilyn (Jack) Reysack of Hampton, sister Cheryl (Jim) Hoff of Pueblo West, Colorado, sister Janean (Mark) Van Der Heyden of Maxwell, Nebraska, sister Karla (David) Harris of Littleton, Colorado, brother Kendall Benning of Mason City, stepbrothers David Reysack, Richard Reysack, Michael Reysack, stepsisters Cindy Musick and Evelyn Goodell, nephew Tyler Moore, niece Sara Hoff, niece Katie Hoff, great nephew Dean Moore, great niece Samantha Moore, great nephew Isaiah Trejo, step-nieces Aimee, Kim, Katy, April, Brandi and Crystal, step-nephews Austin, Jeremy and Jonathon, uncle Dennis (Ehande) Pals of Meservey, uncle Vernon (Geneene) Pals of Clinton and cousins Bob, Denise, Lisa, Jamie, Brian, Marcie, Kaye, Lori, Debbie, Jerry and Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his father Irvin Benning, paternal and maternal grandparents, stepbrother John Reysack, aunt JoAnn Johnston and uncle LaVerne (Faye) Benning.
