Barbara Piechocki
June 27, 1924 - August 22, 2018

Barbara Ann Piechocki, of Antigo, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 94 years old. She was born on June 27, 1924, in Antigo, a daughter of Rasmus and Barbara (Rettinger) Markgraf. She married Lawerence Servi in 1942, they had two children, Gloria and Gary. The couple later divorced. She married Frank Piechocki whom she later divorced.

She attended Mayking Grade School and Antigo High School.

Barb was employed as a nurses aide for many years, first at Ridgewood Hospital in Racine for 24 years and later at Mt. Carmel Care Center in Burlington for 7 years.

She returned to Antigo in 1993 where she was a member of St. John Catholic Church and helped with funeral luncheons.

Barb enjoyed volunteering at many locations including Eastview Nursing Home, the Langlade County Humane Society, Langlade Hospital Auxiliary, C.A.R., and at Twin Oaks in Elcho. She was a volunteer guardian while living in Racine.

She enjoyed the companionship of her dogs, Peaches and Sparkles.

Survivors include a grandson, Shawn (Darla) Servi of Lincoln, Nebraska; three great-grandchildren, Mila, Rowan and Ryder Servi; a daughter-in-law, Madonna Servi of Wisner, Nebraska; and a sister-in-law, Betty Markgraf of Antigo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria (Bill) LaPoint; a son, Gary Servi; six brothers, Rozie, Clarence (Mary), John (Regina), Ralph (Cristy) and two brothers in infancy; a sister, Katherine (Bob) Platt.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at 12 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Entombment will take place Monday at Westlawn Cemetery in Racine.

Visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
