Jamie L. Branning
August 18, 1975 - August 30, 2018

Jamie Lee Branning, age 43, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 6:10 am on Thursday August 30, 2018 at his residence. Born on August 18, 1975 in Columbia City, he was the son of Roger L. and Cindy (Gaff) Branning.

Jamie attended local schools and graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1993. He then attended Ball State University and earned his Associate Degree in Business.

Jamie worked at Whitehead Construction for over 20 years. He started as a laborer and worked his way up to a foreman.

Survivors include his children Ian, Gabrielle, and Emma Lee Branning, all of Columbia City; grandchildren Leo Blackburn and Presley and Elijah Branning; mother Cindy (Chad) McClure of Columbia City; father Roger Branning of Etna; siblings Candy (Joey) Pease of Churubusco and Timothy Branning of Columbia City.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Conrad and Grace Branning, maternal grandparents Calvin and Evelyn Gaff, and grandson Jaxon Blackburn.

Funeral services for Jamie will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior.
