Judith G. Tarlton
March 11, 1942 - September 5, 2018

Judith G. Tarlton, age 76, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away at 12:45 pm on Wednesday September 5, 2018. Born on March 11, 1942, in Allen County, she was the daughter of Emmett and Huldah (Ramsey) Bowie.
Judith attended Whitley County Schools and graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1960. She then attended Purdue University. Judith worked at International Harvester, Fort Wayne for 16 years, in addition to several local hospitals. Judith enjoyed dancing, sewing, and animals. In addition to being a multimedia artist that could make something out of anything, she also won a ribbon at the Whitley County Fair for her drawings.
Survivors include her daughter Dawn Bowie of Fort Wayne; siblings Lewis "Bud" Bowie, Berniece White, Deborah (Tom) McClurg, and Adele Rouch, all of Columbia City, Rebecca Bowie of Fort Wayne, Laura (Danny) McDaniel of Leo, Ruth Ann (Jack) Davis of Hamilton, IN, and Joan Harrigan of Lafayette, IN; brother-in-law Floyd Wolfe of Pierceton. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Susan Wolfe, and nephew Douglas Harding.
A memorial gathering for Judith will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday September 15, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church 2001 South 500 East, Columbia City. Memorial contributions in memory of Judith may be to the Cleveland Clinic or Whitley County Humane Society.
