Amanda L. Brandom
August 5, 1960 - September 5, 2018

Amanda Louise Brandom, age 58, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 7:00 pm on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at her residence. Born on August 5, 1960 in Ironton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harold and Audrey (Clifton) Harper.
Amanda attended Ironton Schools and graduated from Rock Hill High School with the Class of 1978 and attained top honors. She was a member of the Columbia City Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles and always enjoyed helping others in need. Amanda was a waitress at S & L Truck stop in Columbia City for several years and she helped many patrons with her knowledge of sign language. She also enjoyed helping others as a home health aide in Ironton, Ohio. On August 7, 2004 Amanda married Larry Brandom in Columbia City.
Survivors include her husband Larry Brandom of Columbia City; children Bill (Tessa) Jones of Flatwoods, KY, Shanna (Richard) Arthur of Raceland, KY, Keli (Josh) Keating of Ironton, OH, and Dustin Brandom and Derek (Amber) Brandom, both of Columbia City; 10 grandchildren; siblings Vicki Long, Bill (Verna) Harper, and Harold Jr. (Sharon) Harper, all of Ironton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, a grand-daughter, and her first husband.
Funeral services for Amanda will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service. Burial will follow in South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorial contributions in memory of Amanda may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or to Locks of Love.
