Loretta Ann Palisay, age 81, of Middletown NJ passed away peacefully on September 10, 2018 at her daughter's home in Toms River. Born in Manhattan, she lived there and in Staten Island before moving to Middletown 18 years ago.
Loretta worked as a Nursing Assistant at Eger Nursing Home, Staten Island, for over fifteen years. She enjoyed flea-marketing, bingo, and playing scrabble.
She was predeceased by her son, Salvatore Fiumefreddo, on 9/11/2001, and by her brother, Edward Kachik in 2017. She is survived by her children, Donald Palisay and his wife Stephanie of Boynton Beach, FL, Lori Ann Schiavone and her husband Robert of Toms River, and Charles Palisay and his wife Janene of Staten Island; her grandchildren, Nicole, Kimberly, Danny, Anthony, Eric and Robert; her great grandchild, Avery; and two sisters, Maryjane Weingarten of Boynton Beach, FL and Alice Maldonado of Pittsburgh, PA.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at New Monmouth Baptist Church, 4 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown.
