"So many good thoughts of Lonny. A lot of campfire stories told. A soft spoken man that did not know a stranger. He was always there to help no matter how busy he was. He treated everyone with kindness. He liked a good Bloody Mary from Lanny's bar in Lake View and a garage sale which he could not pass up a box of old VCR tapes which he had no clue what he was going to do with! It certainly was good to call him our friend. Prayers! Love, Dave, Rox"

"Words cannot describe how sad we were to hear the news of Lonny's passing. It's hard to believe that we were just camping and laughing 2 months ago at the "Ladybug Campout" I will forever cherish the time we had in Onawa with you and Sallie. Thank you for your friendship Lonny! May you rest peacefully and dance with the Angels until we all meet again! Valerie Herren aka Dancing Bug!"
