"I've known Dave for many years even before we became neighbors and we always had fun by calling each other neighbor. We also had fun arguing about blowing mosquitoes back-and-forth to each other's house with a big fan.! He was such a great guy! Rest in peace Dave! You will be missed by many!"

Carol Anderson and Rooster wrote on Sep 25, 2018:

"First met Dave at the Prairie Dog Blues Fest about 20 years ago. We had our old RV there camped by a shed (still have but!). Never forget this handsome man with silver mirrored glasses ride up alone on his Harley and talk with us. We hit it off immediately. He later asked us if he could camp behind us and from that point on, he has camped with us ever since. Never paid us a dime but did always get the Ice for us! That didn't matter to us for we knew this was a good and genuine man who cared about human beings. Although I dont know Kathy his wife, He always talked lovingly about her and we will be honored to meet her finally and sadly this Friday. We don't forget how much Dave cared about Rooster when he was so ill and always his thoughtfulness. We cherish the Watermelon Slim c.d. he brought down so lovingly to give to Rooster the last time we saw him in July and I, fortunately, had the opportunity tohave a long conversation around the fire with him that was particularly meaningful that night. We love and miss him. Carol and Rooster, Minneapolis"
