In loving memory of

Cleo Miller
March 28, 1927 - September 16, 2018

Cleo James Miller, Jr. was born March 28,1927 in Indianapolis, IN. to Cleo J. Miller, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Miller.

Cleo, lovingly called Junior, Dad, and Granddaddy, was blessed to live a full life. He attended Crispus Attucks High School and enlisted in the Army at an early age. In 1948 he married the love of his life, Mary L. Coleman. To this blessed union nine children were born, five girls and four boys.

Cleo dedicated his life to the Lord at an early age and grew up in the First Church of Christ Holiness, USA. As a mature faithful member he became a Deacon of First Church and served diligently for many years.

Cleo was a devoted worker at Allison's General Motors for 41 years. He enjoyed his job for many reasons; It helped him to provide for his large family and he thanked God for this blessing daily.

He left for work daily two hours earlier than he had to be there, and even tried to attend work during the blizzard of 1978 when the job shut down. Cleo was faithful to his job and his family. He often talked of the exciting and challenging situations he faced on his job everyday. Cleo loved Allison's and retired after 41 years of service.

Cleo's favorite past-time was spent loving his wife, children and family. He was very supportive to his children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great -great grandchildren; and could be found attending the many graduations, weddings, birthday celebrations, family reunions etc. His presence made our lives complete and he will be honored, cherished and missed forever!

Cleo James Miller, Jr. departed this life on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at home in the loving care of his children, at the age of 91 years old and six months.
