"I feel so lucky to have seen Ben recently after several years of being apart. We hung out and talked till 2am. In college, we talked online most weeks. Mostly, he forced me to listen to his music and insisted it was the best thing I'd ever hear. But we also talked about our dreams and relationships. I cherish every moment I spent with him. I'll miss you, cuz. Love you always. "

"Ben made such an impression on me the more I spent time with him and especially once he became an adult. He was a sweet, funny, onry, cute little boy for sure. As a teenager and young adult I feel he struggled to find himself, but that all changed once he had children. He absolutely loved every minute of being a dad and wanted nothing more than to spend every second he could with Blaze and Brooklyn. He had such a gentle soul and kind heart. He lived with and took care of his grandma during her last years. He showed such compassion, love and kindness for her and he was incredibly special to both his grandma and grandpa DeGrange. I am grateful for the many talks I had with him during that time. I will not only miss the Ben that I knew but will miss the man that he was maturing into. Rest in peace sweet Ben. Aunt, Shari"
