David A. Etringer, 72, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa, Iowa.
A private graveside service and burial was held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. There is no public visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.
David Allen Etringer was born on August 2, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa, to Ruby and Marcellene (Feller) Etringer. He was a 1964 graduate of Andrew High School. He had worked as a farmhand for area farmers for many years.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Tamara Hendricks of Peosta, IA, Jon Etringer of Monticello, IA, Kelly McCoy of Anamosa, IA, and Kenzie Etringer of Anamosa, IA; 11 grandchildren; and siblings, Patricia (Lyle) Schmidt of Spragueville, IA, Dennis (Nancy) Etringer of Marion, IA, Robert (Joy) Etringer of FL, and Lori (Roger) Marsh of KY. He was preceded in death by his parents.
