Mr. Robert James Harvey, 70, of Middletown, Iowa, died at 4:48 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018, at the Great River Hospice House.
Born on May 1, 1948 in Burlington, Iowa he was the son of Thomas Warren and Ruth (Burns) Harvey. On May 3, 1988, he married Becky Springsteen in Foley, Minnesota.
Robert was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as an Electrician for Case New Holland for 19 years retiring in 2008. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and was a member of the I.B.E.W.
Survivors include his wife, Becky; his children, Travis Harvey of Middletown, Michael Harvey of Dubuque, Iowa, Suzanne Harvey of the Quad Cities, Tyson Harvey of Mediapolis; his step children, Tod Bozarth of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Tery Bozarth of Mosinne, Wisconsin; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; one sister Ruth Harvey of St. Peters, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
According to Robert's wishes there will be no visitation or service and cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
