Cristy Lyn Caserta, 38, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on October 4, 2018.
The viewing will be held on October 8th 2018 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Funeral Mass will be held at St. David's Catholic Church in Davie, Florida on October 9th 2018 at 10am.
Cristy was born in Miami Beach, Florida on August 5, 1980. She graduated from Western High School in Davie, Florida. She received her bachelor degree from Florida State University (GO NOLES!) and continued on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southern University in 2006.
Cristy practiced law for the last 12 years as a partner at Salpeter and Gitkin, LLP and most recently as corporate counsel at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. Cristy lived life to its fullest. Her passions included traveling, baking, hosting gatherings and giving back to her community. Her joy for life came from spending time with her family and ever-growing circle of friends.
Cristy is survived by her Parents, Terry Caserta Pierce and Frank Pierce, Anthony and Christina Caserta; Grandfather, Anthony S. Caserta; Siblings, Brian and (Erika) Caserta, Ericka Pierce, Ashley and (Luis) Pinilla, Mikey and (Maria) Gonzalez; Uncles, Frankie and David Caserta, Timothy (Jeanie) Caterino; Aunts, Mari Caserta and Tammy Dilella; Cousins, Marilyn and David Caserta, Abigail, Timothy, and Josiah Caterino; Nephews, Chase and Caden Caserta; Nieces, Mila and Maia Gonzalez and Leah and Ella Pinilla and other friends and family.
To continue Cristy's spirit of giving, we ask donations in lieu of flowers be given to METAvivor at metavivor.com, in support of her dear friends Carly and Iris who were touched by breast cancer.
