"Wow, Still in shock! My Prayers go to the Family.I Met Jon a long time ago. Jon Worked for me at Kar Kare Inc.and Later Jon and I invested in a Rustproofing Company with Tidy Car.We worked side by side with long grueling hours detailing cars during the day and rustproofing vehicles at night. My parents hired Jon back in 1978 at Kar Kare. Meeting Jon for the first time was quite interesting Both of us like Alpha males .Lol! But it didn't take long and we started to grow a frienship.I thought Jon was crazy when he introduced me to a band called ACDC.Wow! He knew way back then how good they we're going to be.I remember him and I busting our tails to get done one Saturday so we could race down to Rockford Speedway to see, Reo Speedwagon, The Kars,ACDC and I believe Ted Nugent! We Lost touch of each other for awhile, but I later worked for Jon getting his detail shop going.I have a lot of memories that Jon and I Shared! He Loved his Family and Micki and I was really glad that Jon and I crossed paths in our life.Jon will be Greatly missed R.I.P. my friend.Jeff Schulenburg"

"As a neighbor of 14 years, i had a lot of great conservations with Jon. Jon worked for my uncle at his detail shop back in their youth. I really enjoyed the stories of times past. Over this past summer, Jon and I would vent about construction project that took place in our neighborhood. We moved barricades to slow down traffic that would speed down Hoover. I always enjoyed it when Jon would warm up the Barracuda, hearing the engine screaming from the garage. I would encourage him to burn rubber when he would leave his driveway. Over the years, Jon would offer his assistance or lend me his tools during my home projects. I'm thankful that i was able to know Jon but most importantly, i am glad that Jon was able to connect with my son. Both shared a lot of the same interests and Jon took him under his wing this past summer. He sold him his car with a very flexible payment plan and was able to connect with my son during times when i could not. I know he left a positive impact on him. To Micky, Michael, Kiley and the rest of Jon's family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know i will miss my neighbor across the street....God Bless"
