Joel Blaine Lingelbach age 41, of Cambridge, Iowa died at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames on October 10, 2018, from complications of diabetes. A celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa.
Joel was born May 19, 1977 in Ames, Iowa the son of Darrell (Jan Pohlner) Lingelbach. He was raised in Ames, Iowa and married Brandy Rude, the couple later divorced. They had two children, Brianna and Blake Lingelbach. Joel was a union painter and painted until his health wouldn't allow him to continue. Joel enjoyed going to the Iowa State Fair every year with his daughter, Brianna and playing video games with Blake. His collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia, his baseball card collection, slot machines at the casino, and sharing his big heart with everyone he met.
Joel is survived by Brandy, his children, Brianna and Blake Lingelbach, his dad and his wife, Darrell (Pam Denning) Lingelbach, his mother, Jan Lingelbach Hemme, 3 brothers, Tony Bennett, Jeremy Bennett, Jamie Lingelbach and sister, Brittany (Lingelbach) Loftin.
