Ronald Ron Sharpnack, 59 passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at his home in Altoona. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 1-4pm at the Four Mile Community Center, 3711 Eason Blvd. in Des Moines, Iowa.
Ronald Lee Sharpnack was born on December 4, 1954 to Raymond and Betty (McCullough) Sharpnack in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended East High School in Des Moines. Ron was a jack of all trades and worked at various jobs around Des Moines. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, racing, camping, fishing, watching sports, and traveling.
Those left to cherish is memories are his wife April (Chambers); children Joy Sharpnack, Ronnie Ray Sharpnack, Jennifer (Mike) Pethitory, Ranissa (Shane) Peacock, Axl Thompson, and Vincent (Marissa) Cox; grandchildren Becca Sue, Jenica, Caden, Madison, Austion, Evelyn, and Adelynn; sister Connie (Gene) Capehart; brothers John (Laura) Sharpnack, and Gary Mikey (Deana) Sharpnack; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Tommy Sharpnack, and Jack Sharpnack.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
