Chuck Ordean Mathison, 70 of Cedar Rapids passed away on Wednesday January, 27, 2016 at St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids. There will be a celebration of Chucks life, Saturday, February 6th, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Hillside Wesleyan Church, 2600 1st Avenue NW, Cedar Rapids.
Born was born on August 14, 1945 at Hayfield, Minnesota. Chuck enjoyed old cars and pickups. He loved taking day trips with Vicky. Chuck was friend to all and a wonderful husband and father. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky, Children; Tina Pallman, Tonya Smith (John), Ryan Mathison, Corinnea (Mike), Caternia (Harold), Christina (Vince), Chestina (Tim), Siblings; Diane (Harry), Nancy, Nikie (Craig), Douglas (Gay), Julie (Arnold), Jenine, Kelly (Doug), Jamie (Brian) and 17 grandchildren
Chuck was preceded in death by his Mother, Lavonne Flood, Father, Ordean Mathison, and Brother, Denny.
Celebrate Life Iowa has been entrusted with Chuck's cremation care.

"My first memory of Chuck was in the middle to late 1950's when he used to peddle ice cream novelties in Hiawatha. By peddling I mean that literally as he had a bike made with a cooler built into it. something you do not see anymore. The last time ran into him was when he worked at Ford as a customer service rep when he gave me a ride home after I dropped my car off for service. We knew each other right away even after all those years have gone by. Was so sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace Chuck and God bless"
