Elaine Norma Jacobs, 83 of Lewiston, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Mayo Health Systems - Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse.
Elaine was born March 27, 1935 in Lewiston to Marvin and Irene (Beilke) Sackreiter. She graduated from Lewiston High School. On May 18, 1957 she married Henry Jacobs. Elaine worked for many years at Herff Jones and Security State Bank. She was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Elaine loved to go for rides in the car but her most treasured moments were those spent with her family; she looked forward to time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Henry; three children, Sue (Steve) Hill, Jeff (Julie) Jacobs and Greg (Holly) Jacobs; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Gerry Mulholland and brother-in-law, Merle Matzke.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Bradley Hill; sister, Lorraine Matzke and brother-in-law, Cecil Mulholland.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Reverend Michael A. Lindemann and Reverend Paul Kuckhahn officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Monday at the church and one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church.
