"I met Rhoda at the Hamburg Swimming Pool when we had morning water aerobics. Her very good friend, Donna Woods, brought Rhoda and during those months of swimming we all became well acquainted. She loved the pool and loved meeting new people and talked all during water aerobics even though we sometimes chastised her for talking too much. Her main interests were cooking, trying to live a healthier lifestyle and her relationship with Jesus. She enjoyed all of the young children at the pool and was very concerned if she thought any of them were experiencing lack of food or attention in their lives. Rhoda spoke lovingly and often of her grandparents and the many, many memories she had of time spent with them. We have spent time together going to her Doctors visits, at the pool , Bible Study and in church. I was privileged to witness her joining the First United Methodist Church just 3 weeks ago. It was a proud moment for her and for her church family. Rest in Peace, Dear Rhoda......we will meet again! Lana Brandt xox "
