John "Jack" Bernard Feldman, 89, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. He was born February 19, 1929, to Charles and Edith (Link) Feldman in San Diego, California.
John enlisted in the Army in 1952. He then married Beverly Young on August 6, 1961, in Imperial, California. John worked as a laborer and even had his pilot license and flew his own small plane while he was in his 20's. He was an avid reader and spent much of his time reading technical manuals, medical books and English/Grammar books and textbooks. John loved learning. He also liked to take electronics apart and try to put them back together to learn how they worked. John moved to Hampton in 2010 to be closer to family.
John is survived by a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and his beloved wife Beverly.
Interment will be held at a later date.
