Marsha L. Lloyd
November 18, 1947 - November 17, 2018

Marsha Lavonne Lloyd was born November 18, 1947, in Buffalo Center, daughter of Vernon and Norma (Heetland) Smith. She grew up near Ledyard graduating from Ledyard High School in 1966. Marsha was married to Gene Lloyd and they later divorced.

Marsha worked for Land O' Lakes of Fort Dodge in the accounting office for 21 years. In 2005, she began working at Tursso Printing Company until 2017 when her health would not allow her to work any longer. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to classic car shows, listening to 50's music and the Jay Clyde Band, dancing, bowling, and fishing. Marsha was an avid football fan cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings. She was a member of the Fort Dodge Presbyterian Church.

Marsha L. Lloyd died Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Accura Health Care Center in Bancroft. She was 70.

She is survived by two children, Darin Lloyd and his wife Laura of Clare and Heather Goche and her husband Tim of Bancroft; her grandchildren, Brandon and Brittney Lloyd, Tyler Olson, Ellison Goche, Nick and Riley Goche, Ashley (Josh) Lenahan, Dustin (Krystal) Lloyd, and Adam Lloyd; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Jan (Wayne) Voeltz of Rochester, MN, Shirley Willett of Lakeville, MN, Rod (Jodi) Smith of Lakota, Carol (Alan) Meyer of Lytton, and Daniel Smith of Sheldon; a sister-in-law, Sandy Smith of Lakota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two children in infancy, Barry in 1966 and Michelle in 1967; a brother, Darwin Smith; a sister-in-law, Deb Smith; and a brothers-in-law, Rolland Smith and Donald Voeltz.
