Gary Brent White, 71, of Cooper City, Florida, passed away on November 20, 2018, from appendix cancer.
Gary was born in Miami, Florida on April 3, 1947 to Lewin C. White and Norma C. Ball. He graduated from North Miami Senior High School, class of 1965. Gary then served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, earning two Bronze Stars. Gary worked as a special circuit technician for Bell South for 33 years prior to retirement in 2002. He enjoyed talking politics and sports, and his 1965 Corvette.
Gary was married to his loving wife Terry on August 16, 1975; they were married 43 years. Together they have 2 children: Gary Jr, and Christy; and 2 granddaughters: Kaylie & Reagan.
Gary is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as his brother Daryl (Bobbie) of Cooper City, FL, his nephew Darren (Stephanie) of Port Deposit, MD, and his niece Kimberly (Andy) of Cooper City, FL.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on December 7th at the South Florida National Cemetery. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on December 8th, beginning at 4:00pm, at The White House. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
