Michael Alverio, age 70, of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at The Arbors Care Center, Manchester. Born in Manhattan, he lived in Palmas Del Mar, Puerto Rico for over 30 years before moving to Manchester in 2011.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a graduate of Cardinal Farley Military Academy, Rhinebeck, NY, and Boston University. Mr. Alverio had a successful career, first as International Sales Director for Perry Industries, Green Bay, WI, for many years until moving to Puerto Rico and forming another very successful business, Alvemac Representatives. He retired in 2007.
Mr. Alverio was predeceased by his son, Michael Ramfis Alverio on Saturday, November 17, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Maryanne, and his son, Maximiliano Alverio.
Services were private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
