William Wagner
March 1, 1946 - November 23, 2018

William "Bill" Lyke Wagner was born March 1, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of William and Alyce (Lyke) Wagner. He grew up in the Massachusetts area graduating from Beverly High School in Beverly, MA. After high school, he attended the University of New Mexico to study archeology and geology. Following, he joined the United States Coast Guard as a Medical Corpsman. He earned his degree in Business and Hospital Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and retired as a Lieutenant after 24 years of service.

Bill was united in marriage to Cherlyn Morell on October 5, 1986, in New London, CT., while serving at the Coast Guard Academy. In 1989, together they began a jewelry business and traveled through out the United States for 15 years. They retired in Mississippi before moving to West Bend in 2005.

Bill loved anything to do with trains, especially model trains. He enjoyed fishing, boating, woodworking, looking at fossils, going to auctions and flea markets, and helping others. He would never miss a Phillies baseball game or an Eagles football game. Above all else, Bill loved spending time with family.

Bill passed away Friday, November 23, 2018, at his home in West Bend at the age of 72.

Bill is survived by his wife Cherlyn Wagner of West Bend. Sharon Wagner, mother of his biological children: Heather (Jeff) Studer of West Bend, Natalie (Corey) Gerving of Fort Montgomery, NY, William (Sherri) Wagner of Ocoee, FL and Eric (Tanis) Wagner of Colorado Springs, CO; and his wife's children: Kimberly Greene of West Bend, Tiffani Greene of Jupiter, FL, and Steven Grubb of West Bend; sister, Susan Wright of Pennington, NJ; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a niece and 2 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jeff Wagner.

There will be no services for Bill at this time.
