Roger Fred Conger
January 1, 1941 - November 27, 2018

Roger Fred Conger, 76, of Keokuk, formerly of Burlington , died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Lexington Square in Keokuk.
Born January 1, 1941 in Burlington, Iowa he was the son of Hobert Elwood and Rosaline (Pieper) Conger. He married Jeannie Hillyer, they later divorced. She died December 4, 2015. He then married Mary Palmer, they later divorced.
Roger worked for Winegard Co., Antennacraft and the Iowa State Pennitentiary. In addition he owned and operated his Safety Tree Service until 2003.
He was an excellent golfer in his youth, even scoring a few holes-in-one! He loved playing pool and was a wiz at Math. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved his family and friends.
Survivors include his three daughters; Donna Rothell of Youngtown, Arizona, Shannon Conger of Burlington who worked alongside her dad in the tree trimming business until 2003 and Malissa Conger of Keosauqua, Iowa; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister Patricia Meier of Burlington; nieces and nephews and his best friends Tony Weinrick of New London, Iowa and Art McKraken of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Robert and Richard.
The memorial funeral service for Mr. Conger will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29th at Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Dean Graber will officiate.
A memorial has been established.
According to his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
