CARLOS ROBLES
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Carlos J. Robles, 55, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Unity Point Hospital, Muscatine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at the First Baptist Church, Muscatine. Pastor Matthea Haecker will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of, Brenda. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com
Carlos was born on December 19, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Jose and Carmen Jimenez Robles. He married Brenda Ryan on July 13, 1996, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
He worked for Heinz for 17 years. Carlos loved his cats, Dexter and Ryder. He enjoyed painting, hiding, and finding Muscatine Rocks on his walks through the Arborteum and Discovery Park. He was known for the 'CR' rocks.
Carlos accepted the Lord as his savior and was baptized into the First Baptist Church on May 22, 2016. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews and cherished his friends and family.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Brenda; one son, Mark Robles and wife, Nanae, of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Raul Robles and wife, Minnie, of Muscatine, and Ricardo Robles and wife, Becky, of Laredo, Texas; five sisters, Lupe Enriquez, of Wapello, Grace Guzman and husband, Octaviano, of San Antonio, Irma Bravo, of Muscatine, Mary Murgia and husband, Jose Luis, of Muscatine, and Estella Robles, of San Antonio; and many nieces and nephews.
Carlos was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Juan Robles; and one brother-in-law, Aurelio Bravo.
