"I was very sorry to hear Steve had passed on. I knew his health was not good but he should have been with us a lot longer than he was. I was glad to get to know him years ago via the CB radio and then get to know him and his family personally as well. Steve always had a great sense of humor and knew how to make people laugh."

"I miss my uncle it was hard to believe he passed away. I had written the poem below for another friend but it works the same. Its called Angels With Wings of Gold:You left us all here on EarthPondering life for all that it's worthAnd the words that you saidOr the words that we readMeant more to us Than you would have ever knownHad any of us thoughtYour fate would be broughtBy angels with wings of gold.We all miss you dear friendEven at your life's endYou were strong willing kind and bold.Your other friends and I knowYou'll be waiting at the gatesEspecially when our fatesAre the same as yours were toldAnd you'll stand beside usAs the light will guide usBrought to you by those angelsWith those great beautiful wings of gold."
