"I just learned of Tom?s death, to the family, I am so sorry for your loss. It?s hard for me in a few words to share how much Tom affected my life. He was hard on me at work, always expecting excellence, no nonsense. My work ethic, and how I run my business, came directly from Tom. And in the darkest hour of my life, Toms heart was revealed to me, he told he would do everything he could to help me get through my battle with my addiction to alcohol. I will miss you Tom, your legacy, will live on with me. Troy Gustavson "

"I have many fond memories of Tom like the time he saw me fall out of a boat during an early spring tournament, bringing me warm, dry clothes. I remember the time he insisted I join him ice fishing at McNalleys promising I'd be warm. And I'll always remember our trips to Lake Zumbro to take a little money from the Rochester club members. Being with Tom was an absolute joy for me. "

"Dear Merry. Our parents were friends, which brought all of us kids together so very many years ago. Although we have may lost touch because of growing up, graduating high school, getting married, and raising our kids, does not mean that the love and care was ever lost. I chuckle at the stories you have shared with about our dads and their shenanigans! I?ll have to get more stories out of my dad to share with you ?. I?m proud to the fact that your pop taught you and Heather the fine art of fly fishing. I?m sure he will be watching over you from the finest streams in heaven making sure you continue to catch those kooky looking fish that you love to name! Much love to you sweet girl ?? Please give your mom a big hug from me! "

You showed us no one is perfect and we will make mistakes but we should always do our best to make up for our errors. You made us all feel special in our own way. None of us can imagine how the hole in our hearts will ever be fixed but I guarantee each of us will keep you in our daily thoughts and share our memories with laughter and tears.
