Patty Krueger wrote on Dec 4, 2018:

"I came to know David best during the time when he was in the DC area and came regularly to Madison to check on his mother. I was impressed with the fact that he came so far as he did and so regularly. His mother had been a beacon for me in my journey. She saved tasks for him to do. He never complained. I was impressed by his thoughtfulness. carefulness and caring. That's just the kind of man he was."
