"Sorry for your loss. I use to cut Doris?s hair many years ago. She was so fun to visit with. I saw her many times at the senior center when she came for cards. She always had a smile & lots of hugs. A great lady. May she RIP"

Carole Nelson wrote on Dec 11, 2018:

"I met Doris very soon after moving to Winona in 1968. She was my "egg lady" and asked me to join her bowling team, which I did. We bowled for years ending around 1998. Our children: Chris, Carrie, Craig and Cammie visited the farm and picked raspberries, cucumbers and hickory nuts. Doris fed us lunch and we visited with Elmer. She always loved the story about Cammie telling Elmer that he had such "tiny eyes." Her smile was infectuous and I will certainly miss visiting with her at LWM each summer. A wonderful lady. "
