In loving memory of

Gloria L. Asche
February 17, 1938 - December 8, 2018

Gloria Lorentz Asche was born February 17, 1938, on the family farm near Elmore, MN, daughter of Lawrence and Hattie (Rhode) Goeke. She married Edwin Asche on September 27, 1958, in Elmore, MN.

Gloria was a very caring, kind hearted, loving person. Her beautiful blue eyes were one thing people often mentioned about her. She was always there for her family in good and bad times. Her family could count on her just as her church could. She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Titonka where she taught Sunday school for many years, she was involved in Ladies Circles, and cleaning of the church. Along with those duties Gloria worked alongside Edwin on the farm. She would help in the fields and in the raising of the pigs. She would never miss any event her daughters were involved in. Gloria had a desire to "punch a time clock" so she decided to do that by working at the grocery store in Titonka.

Gloria L. Asche died Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the age of 80.

She is survived by her husband Edwin of Lakota; two daughters, Julie Johnson of Forest City and Jodi Anderson and her husband Gerald of Britt; and a grandson Trevor Johnson of Forest City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Darla Asche on May 21, 2015; and one brother.
