" I have very fond memories of Bishop Taitt. He was the District Superintendent who approached me to accept the my first pastorate in the Wesleyan Holiness Church in Barbados. He was loved by many of those with whom he came into contact with. He was a visionary leader who led the way in making the District indigenous. As a person he was deeply committed to the work of the ministry all over the world. His was a life well lived. My life is richer from my relationship with the Bishop. My wife Usha and myself sends our deepest condolences to the family. Dr. Paul Watson"

"My deepest sympathies to the Taitt family on the passing of their patriarch who I had the honor of meeting and getting to know in 2000 when I attended Faith and Life, while pursuing studies at FIU. Bishop Taitt and his family provided a family away from home and spiritual guidance during my time at FIU. I remember him taking the time to attend my graduation in 2003, which spoke of the depth of his support as a Pastor and a kind human being. I know that His family will miss him dearly but I pray that the God whom we trust will comfort and strengthen you as you continue your journey of life. Bishop Taitt is at peace and with his father. May His soul Rest In Peace!"

"If I were asked to sum up how I feel about you in one word, it would be 'PROUD'. I am so very proud of all you've accomplished. Your brilliance (a family trait) is unquestionable. I have always, and will continue to, have a sense of pride in knowing you're my uncle. Your character- one of dignity and honor- is one source of this pride. Your strong, firm, yet reassuring voice, coupled with your hearty laugh, is etched in my mind, even from childhood. I endeavour to live my life in such a way, that you are equally as proud of me. You will remain, forever dear in my heart ! ~Donna"
