Gladell had a passion for painting, ballet, piano, knitting, gardening, cooking, sewing, and reading.
She is survived by her siblings, Beverly, Darlene, and Richard. Children, Tim Sell, Melissa Sell, and Andrew Sell. Grandchildren, Mary, Elizabeth, and Amanda.
