Edna I. Wahl age 93 of Maquoketa Iowa and formerly of Jacksonville Illinois died on Tuesday February 282006.0 at the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa Iowa.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday March 42006.0 from the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville Illinois. Visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. Service Time on Saturday March 42006.0 at the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville Illinois. Burial will be in the Diamond Grove Cemetery Jacksonville Illinois. The Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa is assisting the family locally.
Edna I. Lewis was born on April 28 1912 in Morgan County Illinois to Frederick E. Lewis and Myrtle (Arnold) Lewis. She married Lewis John Wahl on September 24 1931 in Jacksonville Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Edna had been a self-employed beautician in Jacksonville Illinois for many years. She had attended the Salem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Illinois.
Edna is survived by: children- Joan Halligan of Poplar Grove IL Marvin Wahl of Sunnyvale CA & Myron(June) Wahl of Maquoketa IA; 7 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; & 3 sisters- Dorothy Leadill of Jacksonville IL Lottie Korar of Springfield IL & Mildred Harris of Springfield IL. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband a son- Norman a grandson- Harlan & 4 sisters.
